These Buy Green Terms & Conditions of Use (T&Cs) apply to your use of the Buy Green gift card (Card). By using this Card, you agree to be bound by these T&Cs.
In these T&Cs, “we” are Buy Green Limited, company number 13194688, registered office 85 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1AE and “you” are the holder of the Card.
We are the issuer and redeemer of the Card. The Card is our property.
Value: This Card is loaded with a fixed value. If you have a physical Card, the amount is printed on the front of the Card. The value of a digital Card will be clearly indicated on your purchase receipt.
The Card is activated and ready to be used within 1 hour of its purchase.
Using the Card: The Card can be used to fund a range of climate action projects available through the Buy Green website (buygreen.co.uk)
Once you have confirmed your choice of project, Buy Green will allocate carbon credits to the value you have redeemed or donate the relevant amount to the charitable cause concerned. On confirmation of your project, your choice cannot be changed.
The Card can only be used to fund the associated projects listed on the Buy Green website (buygreen.co.uk).
The Card cannot be used to purchase other goods/service available through Buy Green or from any other service providers, nor can it be exchanged for cash.
The Card is not reloadable.
Period of validity: The Card is valid for 2 years commencing on date of purchase.
When the Card expires, it can no longer be used and any balance on it will not be available to you. We will not replace or refund any amount on the Card after it has expired.
Cancellation: Cards purchased online that have not yet been used can be cancelled within 14 days of the date the Card was received. To cancel the Card contact us by email cardcancellation@buygreen.co.uk. You will need to provide the Card number so that we can check the balance has not been spent. The balance on the Card will be returned via the method for which it was purchased e.g., the purchaser’s debit or credit card. Cards purchased in-store that have not been used, may be cancelled in accordance with the refund policy of that retailer. You should retain the original receipt or record of purchase of the Card and the Card number as you may be required to provide it to Customer Services.
Liability: Nothing in these T&Cs shall limit our liability to you where it cannot be limited or excluded by law.
Look after your Card, it should be treated like cash. We cannot accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged Cards. If it is lost or stolen, we will not replace it.
We have no liability to you for unauthorised access to, or use of your Card.
We reserve the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The most up to date version can be viewed on our website BuyGreen.co.uk.
These T&Cs are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
